Free $200 when you open new Chase Freedom account and spend $500 within first 3 months of account opening

You can apply HERE before December 18, 2014.

I’m normally not one to encourage anyone to get a credit card.  Really, they are usually not a good thing for anyone.  Yet, this is a great deal for the responsible!

Basically, they are betting $200 that you are going to be irresponsible and make more money off of you in the long run than they are willing to give you.  Prove them wrong by always paying in full and enjoy this free $200!  This card also has 1% to 5% cash back on purchases.  I suggest to use this card to purchase a gift card to your grocery store of choice for amount you have budgeted for grocery purchases.  For example, I would get a $200 Fareway gift card and make that last for my grocery purchases for the month.  It gives me a tangible goal and motivation.  Next month comes and I buy another $200 gift card, and then the same the next month.  Also set up automatic payments on the Chase account and/or reminders so you don’t miss paying for it. Then, bam, you’ve easily just made yourself $200 with little effort, plus the $6 cash back credit!  There’s no annual fee on this card so it really is a good deal if you get approved for the credit card.

We have this card and they are offering $50 to their current costumers for referrals.  I’m applying for this in hopes they will give me another card and I can do the $200 cash back.

If you have a bad history with credit cards, know yourself and don’t get this.  If not, however, this is a sweet deal.
