That's the whole idea behind FrugalPlayground — and it's been true since day one.
FrugalPlayground began as a shared notebook of activity ideas between a few parents who were tired of feeling like a fun weekend required a big budget. What started as a few scribbled ideas grew into a full library of free and low-cost activities, organized by age, category, and season.
Our small team is made up of parents, former teachers, and outdoor educators who test every idea with their own kids before it's published. If a craft is messy or a hike is harder than it looks, we'll tell you.
